Description:
This is a fulltime, permanent position based within our Swan Hill Branch at our retail parts counter. The successful applicant will have a great ability to lead a team, excellent communication and teamwork skills and high-level customer service.

A day in the life

  • Actively support our farming community with exceptional service
  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives to achieve branch sales targets
  • Lead, motivate and mentor your parts team
  • Develop and monitor budgets and reports on parts operations
  • Control and organise inventory, and manage all branch parts
  • Develop, communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Promotes and merchandises parts and accessories in conjunction with other store locations
  • Creates annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organisation's financial and operational objectives
  • Develops and executes Parts Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals

Skills and Experiences:
Essential

  • Relevant qualifications or proven experience in Parts Department operations
  • Experience in leading others
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
  • Ability to analyse and interpret internal reports
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
Desired

  • Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter (5 + years preferred)
  • Broad understanding of farm production methods
  • Experience in EQUIP and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability in financial management and marketing
